Robot-as-a-service vs buying a robot

The practical difference between buying a robot and paying for a managed, covered shift — capital, maintenance, staffing, and accountability.

Buying a robot

Buying means capital expenditure, plus finding someone to house, maintain, and run the machine. The outcome is yours to manage.

A managed, covered shift

With DroidDepot there is no capital expenditure and no robot purchase. The pilot is a flat fee, fixed and capped, priced as scheduled hours at about fifteen dollars an hour.

Machines stay owned by OEM partners, with parts, maintenance, and monitoring carried in their line. DroidDepot holds the contract and the operating record — never a fleet.

If you still want to own one

Ownership is a choice, not a requirement. If a machine is already yours, or you buy one from its maker, we operate it the same way.
