How a managed robot shift works

What it means when DroidDepot covers an unstaffed shift with a managed robot: who owns the machine, who operates it, and what you get every week.

You buy the covered shift, not the robot

DroidDepot sells the shift, covered, with a weekly proof-of-work report. You do not buy a robot. You do not house one, maintain one, or staff one.

The machines stay owned by our OEM partners — rented, leased, or revenue-shared, with parts, maintenance, and monitoring carried in their line. If a machine is already yours, or you choose to buy one from its maker, we operate it just the same.

Who does what

DroidDepot is the operator of record. We match the machine, the configuration, and the service plan from across makers, deploy it, operate it, and stand behind the shift — with insurance, maintenance, teleoperation support, and proof every week.

What it costs

Covered shifts are priced as scheduled hours at about fifteen dollars an hour, with the Year-1 price visible before we start.

How to start

Explain the job in your own words — the shift, the site, the work that is not getting done — then walk your site on video with a phone. You do not need to know which robot you need.
